Captain Laura Neufield (skipper/owner of the CFV Polara) has 20 years professional prawn fishing expertise. As a 3rd generation fisher, she brings her enthusiasm for her product to your table. The best environmental choice: Don’t eat imported farmed Tiger prawns from warm waters, choose pot-caught BC wild prawns for your family. Your can feast without feeling guilty, eating seasonally fished trap-caught prawns. Cooking prawns: simple is best! Thaw, boil water, add salt, and throw in the prawns until they start to float. You can also steam them with garlic and dill, or sauté with garlic butter – as soon as they curl and change colour – either method one to two minutes is all it takes. Don’t over-cook. |

Order your prawns for your visit to the coast and you can cook them up on the BBQ or microwave!
